Friends Launch Memorial Album, Live Shows and Lifestyle Brand in Honour of Late Dead Harts Drummer Ant Allen

Sheffield & Brighton, UK - Three close friends of the late Ant Allen - Dom Bass, Mathew Baxendale and Lauren Spencer - have come together to launch a lifestyle brand, a memorial album, and a series of live events celebrating the life and legacy of their friend and bandmate.

Ant, drummer of the UK hardcore band Dead Harts, passed away in 2021. This new initiative honours his life while raising awareness and vital funds for mental health and recovery charities.

At the heart of the project is LLAA (Long Live Ant Allen), a memorial album from Dead Harts set for release on 7 May 2026. The album stands as a powerful and emotional tribute, capturing the band’s signature intensity alongside the deep personal loss felt by those closest to Ant.

To mark the release, two special live shows will take place:

Sheffield - Yellow Arch Studios, 7 May 2026 - raising funds for Project6, supporting people recovering from drug and alcohol use alongside mental health challenges.

Brighton - Daltons, 8 May 2026 - raising funds for Change Grow Live, a national charity helping people change the direction of their lives through recovery support services.

These events will bring together friends, fans and the wider music community, with support from acts including Hell Can Wait and Shipman Enquiry in Sheffield, and Hell Can Wait, Staff Party and Strain in Brighton.

Alongside the album and shows, the trio are launching a lifestyle brand inspired by the ethos, attitude and community that surrounded Dead Harts. Blending music, fashion and grassroots culture, the brand will feature limited clothing collections and live experiences designed to connect people while supporting meaningful causes.

“Launching this project is our way of keeping Ant’s spirit alive,” said Dom. “We wanted to turn something incredibly painful into something positive - something that could genuinely help others.”

The first limited-edition clothing line draws directly from Ant’s personality, legacy and the band’s visual identity, combining bold graphics with classic punk and hardcore influences. A portion of proceeds from both merchandise and events will go directly to the partner charities.

“Dead Harts was never just a band - it was a family,” said Lauren. “Ant was the heartbeat of that family. Everything we’re doing now is about making sure his impact continues, for the fans who loved the band and for people who might need support themselves.”

The Sheffield and Brighton shows mark the beginning of a wider programme of events planned throughout 2026 and beyond, all aimed at bringing people together through music while continuing to raise awareness and funds for mental health and recovery support.

Through the album, brand and live events, the founders hope to create a lasting tribute to Ant Allen - one that not only celebrates his life, but also encourages open conversations and real support for those facing their own struggles.

This is how you keep someone alive. Not quietly. Not politely. Properly.
