With ambient Studio Ghibli soundtracks setting the mood and a hydraulic standing desk (yes, really), it’s the go-to zone for writing lyrics and getting in the zone. “It’s not very exciting,” he says — but between the bookshelf full of retro video games and a PS2 collection, we’re calling that a lie.

Retro gaming lovers, unite. From Shaq Fu to Sega Mega Drive classics, Freddie’s home is full of pixelated nostalgia. Add in a love for lava lamps and you’ve got the makings of a vibe-heavy creative sanctuary.
