We caught up with AJ, Jake, and Monique at Slam Dunk 2025 to chat about extravagant decor, weird-but-wonderful purchases, and what their homes would say if they could talk.
💸 What’s the most extravagant home decor item you’ve ever bought?
AJ:
It’s either my record player or my Red Power Rangers helmet. I would’ve gone Green, but the Red one was discounted! (I do have a Green Ranger tattoo though.)
Jake:
I haven’t bought it yet, but I’m planning on getting a water cooler - I’m done with Britta. I want that water ICE cold, always.
Monique:
It’s got to be my couch… or my Fornasetti plates. Goodbye, money.
🌀 What’s the weirdest thing in your home that you love but others wouldn’t?
Monique:
Easy - my Heroin and Cocaine salt & pepper shakers.
Jake:
I just bought a fridge for the first time and felt weirdly proud. I had to go to an actual refrigerator store! AJ and his brother helped me pick it up in a truck.
AJ:
I’ve got a LOT of Power Rangers stuff. A lot.

AJ:
That I have a Power Rangers addiction. And a vinyl addiction. Send help.
Jake:
“Stop buying basses. There’s no room for any more basses.”
